Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath revealed that around 100 chartered planes are scheduled to land at the Ayodhya airport on January 22 for this auspicious ceremony.
Ayodhya Airport Development:
The Ayodhya airport, inaugurated on December 30, has already made significant strides in its development. Being the fourth international airport in Uttar Pradesh, it can currently handle 10 lakh passengers annually, with plans for further expansion in the second phase to accommodate 60 lakh commuters every year.
Air Connectivity Boost:
In a bid to enhance air connectivity, the first tri-weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya have been launched. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced the initiation of this connection, emphasizing the importance of linking Ayodhya with other major cities.
Chartered Planes Flock In:
CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for granting Uttar Pradesh its fourth international airport. The influx of 100 chartered planes on January 22 will not only mark the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony but will also serve as a litmus test for the Ayodhya airport’s operational capabilities.
Infrastructure Development Across the State:
The news isn’t limited to Ayodhya alone. Uttar Pradesh is experiencing a significant boost in infrastructure development. The state government plans to open five more airports in Azamgarh, Aligarh, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Chitrakoot by the next year. Additionally, an international-level airport in Jewar is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
Government Appreciation and Collaboration:

They commended the inauguration of the Ayodhya Airport and Railway Station on December 30, showcasing the government’s efforts to enhance connectivity and infrastructure.
As Uttar Pradesh embraces the ‘Pran Pratishtha Day’ with the grandeur of 100 chartered planes, the Ayodhya airport stands as a symbol of the state’s commitment to progress.
