Nifty50 closed at 19600 level on 17th July. Nifty opened flat around 19520 and touched new high of 19627 and settled positive with the gain of 125 points where as Sensex closed 500 points positive to close around 66060 level on Friday trading session.
Wall Street ended positive on Friday trading session, with Dow jones closed with gain of 115 points, European markets closed mixed, Asian markets indices closed in green.
The pivot points indicating 19500 is the initial key support level to watch out for, followed by 19450 and 19400. If the index rises it can get resistance again at 19650, followed by 19700 and 19800.
The Banking Index closed around 44900 level on a positive note, and traded in a range throughout the session and touched 44675 at the lower end and 44964 at the higher side. Pivot point still suggesting 44500 can act as initial support zone followed by 44300 & 44200 support zone and on the higher side 45200 & 45500 can act as a good resistance levels.
FII & DII data:
Foreign Institutional investors were the Net buyers & bought shares worth Rs 2636.43 crore where as domestic institutional investors were the Net sellers & sold shares worth 772.45 crore on July 14th.
