The second interim dividend of $0.60 per share for FY23 has been approved by the board of directors of Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), and the record date for the payment has been set for next week on Saturday, March 25, 2023. In Friday’s afternoon trades, the stock was trading more than 2% higher at 94 per share on the BSE.
“In continuation to earlier letter dated 2nd March, 2023, we wish to inform you that Board of Directors of the Company has declared second interim dividend of 0.60/- (60%) per equity share of Re 1/- each fully paid-up for the financial year 2022–23 at its meeting held on 17th March, 2023, among other things. The second interim dividend will be paid within 30 days of the declaration date, according to a filing made by Bharat Electronics today.
