Stock Market Today
India’s stock market ended Tuesday on a positive note as the BSE Sensex gained 90.88 points to close at 83,079.66. The NSE Nifty50 settled at 25,418.55, up 34.80 points. Gains were led by Bharti Airtel, NTPC, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Titan, while Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, and JSW Steel weighed on the indices.
Sectoral Performance
Among the sectoral indices, Nifty Realty was the top gainer, rising by 0.6%, followed by Nifty Consumer Durables and Nifty Auto, up by 0.5% and 0.3%, respectively. On the downside, Nifty Media fell by 1.2%, with Nifty PSU and Nifty Metal also closing lower by 0.6% and 0.4%.

Key Gainers and Losers
- Top Gainers: Hero MotoCorp (+2.95%), Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, and Mahindra & Mahindra were among the best performers on the Nifty50.
- Top Losers: Tata Motors (-2.45%), Eicher Motors, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel dragged the market lower.
