Q1 Results

Voltas Ltd, a leading air conditioning and engineering services provider, reported a significant two-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹335 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024. This impressive growth was primarily driven by a substantial increase in sales from its room air conditioning (AC) business, marking a strong start to the financial year.

Financial Performance: In Q1 FY25, Voltas achieved a major milestone by selling one million units of ACs, which contributed significantly to the company’s overall performance. The Tata Group company’s total income surpassed the ₹5,000 crore mark for the quarter, reaching ₹5,001.27 crore, a 45.81% increase compared to the same period last year.

Revenue and Expenses: Voltas’ revenue from operations surged by 46.46% to ₹3,359.86 crore, compared to ₹2,513.97 crore in Q1 FY24. The company also witnessed a notable rise in expenses, which increased by 41.44% to ₹4,520.40 crore during the quarter.
